Since its foundation in 1973, Cort has grown into a worldwide guitar maker, producing 160,000 high quality electric guitars yearly with advanced manufacturing process and accumulated know-how. X series, a new model of Cort, is appraised to create a new super strata prototype by succeeding in the tradition of but surpassing the limit of Solo and Viva. Newly designed body of X series has a unique curved line, differentiating it from the past super strata-type guitars.  

 This new X series design attracts lots of guitarists who have looked for a new concept guitar. Due to the voluminous body and neck, X series guitars make a strong and powerful impression especially on heavy metal-oriented guitarists. However, guitarists in the fusion, pop and rock worlds also praise the X series. 

 Presently, Cort controls 25% of the global guitar market and produces over 25 electric guitar models and over 30 acoustic guitar models. Cort's main electric guitar factory is located in the busy manufacturing center of Incheon. Its acoustic guitar factory is located further south in the beautiful mountains of Daejeon with a great climate and a great view. 

 Recently, Cort opened its PT Cort factory in Surabaya, Indonesia, for making its standard series of electric guitars.
